Exclusively from Trains magazine, this poster is your single source of information for the BNSF railroad.  

The result of the first modern megamerger, the BNSF formed in 1995 between Burlington Northern and Santa Fe.  Two main routes are the former Burlington Northern “Northern Transcon” between Chicago and Portland/Seattle and the former Santa Fe “Southern Transcon” between Chicago and Southern California. Today it hosts Amtrak’s Empire Builder and Southwest Chief.
