Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING:

We want you to enjoy your items as soon as possible. Most in-stock items ship within 1-2 business days. Orders placed during the weekend are processed on Monday, unless we are closed for a holiday. Domestic orders are shipped via the most cost effective carrier available for your delivery area. Orders to PO boxes, APOs, and FPOs are shipped by US Mail. Delivery estimates can be based on the delivery speed you select at checkout. These delivery speeds are estimates (in number of days) for domestic shipments. Shipments traveling outside of the continental US will take longer to arrive.

Your order may arrive in multiple shipments.

International Orders: VAT is the responsibility of the buyer. Final destination package delivery is subject to the procedures and regulations of the local authority.

CUSTOMS / DUTIES / TAXES:
International orders likely will have customs, duties and / or taxes imposed on your shipment, before receiving your package. All of these costs are the customers responsibility. We are required to fill out the forms when we ship your package.



RETURNS:

In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product within 30 calendar days of the receipt of your item(s). The product must be in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way. After we receive your item, our team of professionals will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement. If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund. The customer is responsible for paying shipping costs on these returns.

If you receive an incorrect item, The Trains.com Store will pay the return shipping cost.

Digital products are not covered under our return policy, but if you are not satisfied with the quality of the item purchased please contact our customer support team.

The Trains.com Store can only accept returns if the product was purchased directly from Shop.Trains.com. Any other return should be made directly with the retailer from whom you purchased the product.
