The injection-molded plastic kit uses Accurail’s 5200-series tooling and features the MR&T’s oval herald. The double-door boxcar has a one-piece riveted-side body with a factory-installed brake wheel and running board casting. The doors and door straps are separate, modeler-installed parts.
Molded details include the stirrup steps, full-height ladders, and grab irons. The underbody features molded center sills, crossmembers, and laterals; a separate air reservoir, brake cylinder, and control valve; and draft-gear box covers.
Also included in the kit are plastic solid-bearing trucks, Delrin engineering plastic wheelsets, Accumate couplers with modeler-installed trip pins, a steel weight, and four 2-56 screws.
