Recalling Norfolk Southern’s 21st Century Steam Program: Ten years ago, Norfolk Southern ended its 21st Century Steam program, an ambitious effort that saw four restored steam locomotives pulling numerous passenger excursions on Norfolk Southern rails throughout the eastern United States.
