Electro-Motive Division Factory Floor Puzzle

The erecting floor at Electro-Motive’s fabled La Grange, Ill., plant shows diesel locomotives in various stages of assembly in this 1975 view. The body closest to the camera in the cavernous facility is for a GP40-2 as three radiator fans are visible. Toward the back are “tunnel motor” bodies for future Southern Pacific SD40T-2 locomotives. The high-resolution image measures 15" x 21" upon completion.  Also included is a poster that can be used as a handy reference during assembly.
