Railfan Road - NY Route 5: The New York Central’s Water Level Route hosted many fast passenger trains including the famous “20th Century Limited” and New York Route 5 run parallel to the tracks. Today, both NY 5 and the Water Level Route don’t see the traffic they did in their heyday. That’s not to say they aren’t busy though.
