This two-video set focuses on the American Northern and the Blue Mountain & Reading Railroads. 

The American Northern is based on steam locomotive ex-Reading T1, number 2102. Built in 1945 at the Reading Railroad shops in Reading, Pennsylvania, this 4-8-4 served until the late 1950’s until locomotive fleets were dieselized. The 2102 powered many of the “Iron Horse Rambles” excursions through the fall of 1964.

The Blue Mountain & Reading is a tourist line running between Temple and South Hamburg Pennsylvania. It uses many historic steam and diesel locomotives to power their trains. This video features the historic equipment that is a part of the BM&R line.
